Sound reduction data
Laboratory sound reduction index R by one-third octave band, for use in noise models. Tested by a UKAS-accredited laboratory (No. 1262) to BS EN 1793-2:2018 (road traffic noise) and BS EN 16272-2:2023 (railway noise). Full reports available on request.

Specification clause
Acoustic barrier: NoiseBloc™ Premium TGV Reflective acoustic barrier, supplied by ATF Supplies Nationwide Ltd, or equivalent approved. Airborne sound insulation not less than DLR 26dB to BS EN 1793-2:2018 (road) and 28dB to BS EN 16272-2:2023 (rail), tested by a UKAS-accredited laboratory. Height: [ ]m. Posts: [timber / S355 hot-dip galvanised steel UB] at 2.4m centres, sized for site wind exposure. Timber: FSC or PEFC certified, ground-contact timber to Use Class 4. Installation to manufacturer's standard details NB-TGV-R-SD01.
Substitute Board & Batten Reflective (DLR not less than 23dB road / 24dB rail, details NB-BB-R-SD01) where the acoustic report allows.
